  • About Anca Solomon

Anca Solomon was born in Constanta, a Romanian town by the Black Sea. Living so close to the beach, the sea always inspired her. She spent a part of her childhood in Belgium with her parents. This is where she discovered her love and talent for ART. She would draw and watch Disney movies almost ALL THE TIME. Going back to her home country, Anca took art classes from various important Romanian artists. She has a Master`s degree in Anglo American Studies because she wanted to open her horizons more, along with her imagination.

At a very young age, Anca was discovered to be very talented by her parents, teachers, family friends and artists.

Anca believes very much in connecting with people through art. She relies very much on her talent and hard work to bring people together and inspire them. She says: "We Are One".

Although her studio is located in the United States, she travels twice a year to Romania to see her family, friends and her adopted dogs. She also travels to other European countries to find inspiration. In the future, she hopes to find more time and resources to stay longer in foreign places just to make art, participate in artistic events and connect with more and more people from all over the world.

  • Creative Process

I love bringing into my art the feelings I get after reading something good. I can capture the beauty of a flower in blossom and share it with the world by painting it in the image of a young woman, for example. My dreams also inspire me. They are sources of creation. Oil colors are a MUST almost 90% of the time. Acrylics are also a very important part of my art. I am not shy in using collage, spray paint, gold leaf, rhinestones sometimes, acrylic pens or markers. Everything is perfectly dosed in my process.
